Info

The smallest model in Güldner's new tractor lineup was the AZK, which entered production in 1953. Unlike most competitors' single-cylinder engines, its engine was a 2-cylinder, as were all other early 1950s Güldner models. However, it only produced 12 hp and had a displacement of 885 cm³. Soon, the engine was replaced by a 14-horsepower 2KN version equipped with a ball-bearing crankshaft. A total of 14 different versions of the AZK were produced. The wheelbase was either 175 or 156 cm. Some versions featured portal axles and larger 8-32 or 10-28 wheels instead of the standard 24-inch wheels. Gear options were either 5+1 or 6+1.

The smaller models had only hand throttle and lacked an engine temperature gauge. However, steering brakes, a differential lock, power take-off, and a 12-volt electrical system were standard.

The Güldner ADN replaced the earlier AF 15 model. Initially, it had 16 hp, then 17, and finally 18 hp. Its technology was largely similar to the smaller AZK, and it had similarly numerous versions. A total of 7,800 ADN units were produced, the highest number among Güldner models. Güldner’s sales peaked in 1954.

The parallel model ADS, two horsepower more powerful than the ADN, was produced only in 1954 and 1955. In 1958–59, a 15-horsepower reduced version called the ADK was manufactured.

In 1954, Güldner introduced its first air-cooled model, the 17-horsepower ALD. This model shared much with the ADN. A year later, the air-cooled 12-horsepower ALK was introduced.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
