Info

The Güldner AX and AK models introduced in 1956 were the first to feature Güldner’s new design with an oval-shaped grille. The new air-cooled models were developed in cooperation with Fahr. The 1-cylinder 11-horsepower AX corresponded to the Fahr D 66, and the 2-cylinder 13-horsepower AK matched the D 88. The ZF transmission had two ranges, with a crawler gear as an option. There were 6+2 (9+3) gears. Both models were available in green and blue. The AK was one of Güldner’s most produced models.

In 1958, the 25-horsepower AB received a new design, replacing the previous ABS. The most significant technical change was a roller-bearing crankshaft. The wheelbase was extended by 10 centimeters. The same tractor was also offered as an air-cooled version under the name ABL. These models were the first Güldners to offer red as a color option.

In 1957, Güldner introduced its first three-cylinder model, the A3P. It was also the first model to use a purchased engine, a 2.36-liter Perkins. Power was 32 hp. The ZF transmission had only 5+1 gears, with crawler gears 8+2.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
