Info

Founded in 1904, Güldner was a significant and reputable diesel engine manufacturer. In 1938, it introduced its first tractor, the simple angular and gray A 20. Its engine was a single-cylinder water-cooled diesel. The transmission was a 4+1 from Prometheus or ZF. The electrical system was standard, with power take-off and pulley as optional extras. A moderate number of 1,500 A 20 tractors were produced before the factory was nearly leveled by bombing.

During the war, the two-cylinder A 30 was developed, which was refined into the production model A 28 in 1946. The transmission was a ZA 4+1. The top speed had increased to 20 km/h. The front axle had a transverse leaf spring pack.

In 1948, the model was raised by 11 cm and changed to green, becoming the AF 30. The engine gained a couple more horsepower, and the transmission was now a Fahr 5+1. A hydraulic lift was now available as an option. New standard features included steering brakes, a differential lock, and a suspended drawbar. During the AF 30 production period, the hood received rounder shapes and a thermostat was added to the cooling system.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
