Info

Encouraged by the success of competitors, Ritscher returned as a manufacturer of the smallest class of tractors. Ritscher's own transmission was too heavy-duty for this class, so the powertrain was purchased from Bautz. The single-cylinder engine was, as usual, sourced from MWM. Both water-cooled and air-cooled versions were offered.

Initially, in 1953−54, production included the 12-horsepower, 4-speed 412. This was followed by the 10+2-speed 512, which offered small gears, and shortly after, the water-cooled 515/54. These used the same ZF transmission as Ritscher’s farm machinery carriers.

The longest-lasting small model was the air-cooled 517 equipped with a Güldner engine, produced from 1955 to 1959. It could also be fitted with 32” rear wheels. At the end of 1957, the hood design was updated to resemble that of the new larger models. In 1959, the 517 was replaced by the new 620 model. Both the 517 and 620 featured independent front wheel suspension.

The last small tractors were the 613, 614, and 615 produced from 1957 to 1960, which were purchased almost complete from Güldner. The total production of these amounted to 50 units.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
