In the autumn of 2014, a new 300-series Vario was introduced, about which it could hardly be exaggerated to say that everything else compared to its predecessor was new except for the powertrain. The engines had been replaced with 4.4-liter Agco Powers, which offered a torque increase of 42…55%. To meet emission standards, SCR technology, an oxidation catalyst, and exhaust gas recirculation were required.
