Fendt 826-832 Vario Gen5

The 800 Vario returned to the Fendt range as the Gen5 generation in autumn 2025. It had same wheelbase as the previous generation 900 S4 series. The engines were Agco Power's new 8.0-liter Core80 low-speed engines. Nominal outputs were 260…320 horsepower and an additional 23 hp was available when power was needed for the radiator fan, compressed air system, air conditioning or hydraulic pump. Nominal speed was 1700 rpm.

The transmission was a single-range VarioDrive TA250, with separate hydrostatic motors on the front and rear axles, which enabled the drive ratio to be adjusted between the axles, automatic four-wheel drive and a turning circle of 11.35 meters thanks to the pull-in-turn feature. A speed of 60 km/h was reached at 1450 rpm.

Two pumps provided 385 l/min of hydraulic output. The payload was 7.6 tons and the total weight was 17.5 tons. The engine and cab air filters were automatically self-cleaning.

The cab frame was the same larger version as in the 900 series. A new roof was designed for the cab, with new bus-controlled work lights. As an optional extra, they had versatile programmable adjustment options. Apple CarPlay was also new.

As an optional extra, a heated fuel pre-filter, an integrated tire pressure control system and an engine brake + hydraulic auxiliary brake were available. The reversing device enabled the control console to be turned 180 degrees with pneumatic assistance.
