Info

Case acquired the French SFV Vierzon tractor manufacturer in 1958. Production in Vierzon initially continued with the old half-diesel models, and the tractors’ color changed from green to Case’s yellowish hue. The final models were the Super 204 and 403D, introduced in 1961.

At the 1962 SIMA show, Case unveiled the CF 250 and CF 350—models partly based on American technology and equipped with French 1.8-liter Indenor diesels. At the same time, the Vierzon plant began assembling the American models 530, 630, and 730.

Both the CF 250 and CF 350 featured an 8+4 gearbox, a dual-clutch system, and a weight-transfer system. Each was also offered in a high-ground-clearance version (48 / 54 cm). In 1967, Case introduced a further developed version of the CF 350, the CF 400.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
