Info

The Ursus C-45 was a copy of the 1940s Lanz Bulldog. The single-cylinder hot-bulb engine could run on almost any oil product as fuel. The starting operation lasted about 20 minutes. The engine parts are interchangeable with those of the Lanz. A special feature of the tractor was its spring-suspended front axle. The maximum driving speed was initially 6.2 km/h. In the C-451 introduced in 1954, which was equipped with rubber tires, the speed was already 16.7 km/h. The newer model also came standard with a mechanical lift, steering brakes, an electrical system, and gasoline starting.

The importer of Ursus in Finland was Oy Atkinson Ab, but sales remained limited to individual units.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
