Info

In 1967, a larger Landini tractor was introduced: the 8000. It was primarily designed as a four-wheel-drive, but a two-wheel-drive model was also available. The front axle of the four-wheel-drive version was a Selene.

The following year, Landinis were redesigned to be more angular – a few years later than most other brands. Besides the new appearance, a major innovation was a fully synchronized 12+4 gearbox. The new models were known as the Mark II series and later, after a small power increase, as the Mark III. The smallest of the lineup was now the 4000. A new model, the 6000, was introduced, featuring a four-cylinder engine with 62 hp.

In 1971, the Landini 9500 was introduced, equipped with a Perkins 5.8-liter six-cylinder producing 98 hp. This model was also sold in the USA as a two-wheel-drive under the Long brand. Smaller Long models were called Universale, and in 1974, Landini was replaced in the Long lineup by the Zetor Crystal.

Alongside the 9500, a new model, the 8500, was introduced to replace the 8000. These models featured a grille with horizontal slats at the lower part of the hood, instead of a mesh.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
