Same D.A. 38 – D.A. 67
Same’s predecessor, Cassani, had already built large tractors back in the 1920s, but after the war Same stuck with 1- and 2-cylinder models until the D.A. 38 Super Cassani was introduced in 1952. Same’s air-cooled diesel engine series was modular, and this model used the 3-cylinder version. The gearbox was a 5+1 configuration without a very low gear. In 1954 a 4-cylinder model appeared, named the D.A. 55 Super Same. Both models were offered in two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions.
In 1956 the D.A. 38 was replaced by the D.A. 47. Engine output was increased, and a differential lock was fitted as standard equipment. The four-wheel-drive version featured larger front tires. With similar updates, the D.A. 55 was succeeded by the D.A. 67.
