Info

In 1986, Renault introduced a new series of tractors for viticulture and fruit growing developed together with Carraro. The engine was an air-cooled Deutz with a power output of 45-76 hp. In 1987, conventional agricultural tractors were also made from the two smallest models in the series, which were named the LB series. Technically, these models had little in common with Renault’s larger tractors. The hydraulics were quite powerful relative to their power class, and the transmission was equipped with a mechanical shuttle shift. The LB models were available either with a roll bar or a cab. A new cab was introduced in 1995.

In 1991, the 67-horsepower 70-12/14 LB was introduced, and in 1995 the 76-horsepower 80-14 LB. Production volumes of these larger models remained low.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
