Info

The Hela D 112 was a redesigned model of the earlier D 12. The portal axle was abandoned, and the first gear speed was even lower. The D 112 was available with both water and air cooling. The latter was more popular. With a total of 3,394 units produced, the D 112 is the most manufactured model in Hela's history.

The 2-cylinder D 117 was a lighter alternative to the D 18 in the same 18 hp power class. It was available with both water and air cooling.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
