Versatile 350 – 400
The Versatile 350, 375, and 400 models introduced in 2012 featured Cummins' new 11.9-liter engine. The smallest model had as much torque as the largest model in the previous lineup. Tier 4 emission requirements were met without urea, using exhaust gas recirculation, a particulate filter, and a variable geometry turbocharger. The basic transmission was still a mechanical 12+4. As an option, the larger models offered a lightweight version of the previously used Caterpillar 16+4 full powershift. An optional 428-liter pump and electric valves were available for the hydraulics. The control devices in the cab were completely redesigned. Almost all functions were now operated from the armrest.
