Info

The successor to the Steyr 8300-series “carrier vehicles” was the 9320, dubbed Power Trac. It used the same truck engine as its predecessor, but its output had been increased by 40 horsepower. The hydrostatic drivetrain gained a fourth mechanical gear, raising the top speed to 30 km/h. Lifting capacity was also improved, and implements could be mounted both front and rear.

The cab still sat above larger wheels, and the seat and steering wheel could be turned to face the direction of travel. However, a completely new engine hood gave it a totally different look than before. The wheelbase was shortened, and the overall length was surprisingly compact for its power class.

In 1995 Steyr sold the rights to the 9320 to the German company Doppstadt, which continued production—now with a DAF engine—under the name Doppstadt DT 32 Grizzly.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
