Massey Ferguson 5S.105 – 5S.145

The MF 5700S was replaced by the 5S series for 2021. There were still five models – the smallest was discontinued and a 145-horsepower model was added at the top end. The engines were 4.4-liter Agco Powers compliant with Stage 5 emission standards. The hood was still a sloping nose design, which partly enabled the SCR system to be placed at the lower end of the exhaust pipe.

Dyna-4 and Dyna-6 transmissions were still available. With the Dyna-6, 40 km/h was reached at 1530 rpm. Lift capacity had increased to 6 tons. Efficient and Exclusive models featured 110 l/min load-sensing hydraulics (later became optional on the Efficient). The turning radius was half a meter smaller than before. Maneuverability was also improved by optional quick steering (the number of steering wheel turns could be adjusted from 1 to 4).

The base model Essential came standard with air conditioning, air seat, quick shift adaptation, and a traditional T-handle gear lever. The Efficient model had a new control armrest and Multi Pad joystick, quick shift automation, speed memory settings, cab suspension, as well as 2 electric and 2 mechanical hydraulic valves. The Exclusive featured a 9-inch Datatronic 5 display, headland automation, automatic air conditioning, 4 electric hydraulic valves, and electric mirrors. Noise level was reported at 71 dB.
