JCB Fastrac 6260-6300

In the autumn of 2025, JCB added the 6000 series between the Fastrac 4000 and 8000 series. In terms of size and weight, the new model was close to the 8000 series, but it was designed to be more versatile and agile. The front and rear wheels were the same size, with a maximum of 710/70R38. The engine was a 6.7-liter FPT instead of the Agco of the other models. The oil change interval was as long as 1000 hours. The transmission was a continuously variable ZF Eccom 3.1 with four range gears. The top speed was 66 km/h.

The hydraulics had a capacity of 205 l/min with the standard pump and 410 l/min with two pumps. There were a maximum of seven valves. The quick couplers had pressure release levers.

The cast iron frame at the front allowed the wheels to turn more and also made it possible to install a front loader. The turning circle was still 14 meters. Both axles were sprung and each wheel had two pressure accumulators. The maximum total mass of the tractor was 18 tons. The front axle carried about 55% of the weight. Like the 4000 series, four-wheel steering was standard. The rear wheel steering was reduced at speeds above 17 km/h. The brake discs were now outside the hub, which made maintenance easier. ABS brakes were standard.

The cab was similar to other model series. There was room for two full-size seats. Two ICON displays were available. The 6300 was available as an option with a tire pressure control system that did not require external hoses. 1 bar more pressure was added to the tires in just over four minutes. Because of the four-wheel steering, more thought had been given to the optional automatic steering option than usual.
