Hela D 18 - D 24, D 120
The Helan model range was quite consistent compared to many other manufacturers. The manufacturer's main markets were in southern Germany. Only just over 10% of production was exported, mainly to neighboring countries.
Introduced in 1951, the D 18 was equipped with a 1.5-liter single-cylinder engine and a Hurth 5+1 gearbox.
In 1953, the D 20 was launched, which was largely the same single-cylinder tractor as the D 18 but equipped with portal axles. Its sister model was the D 120, which had Helan's 6+1 gearbox without portal axles.
The D 24 was introduced in 1953. It was one of Helan's most successful models. Available were a water-cooled version with a 1.7-liter engine and an air-cooled 1.8-liter MWM engine. The gearbox was Helan's own 6+1. In 1958, narrow special cultivation versions S 24 and S 18 were introduced.
