At the end of 1983, Deutz-Fahr introduced the updated 6-cylinder DX models. Power had been raised slightly compared with the previous versions. Of the units imported into Finland, the DX 6.30 produced 115 hp and the DX 6.50 137 hp. There was also a 100-horsepower DX 6.10 in the line-up. The smaller models received an 18 + 6 gearbox, which meant that the maximum road speed for the 6-cylinder tractors was now 40 km/h as well. In autumn 1986 the optional equipment list was expanded to include the Agrotronic on-board computer with radar-based speed monitoring (see lower photo).
