Info

In the autumn of 2006, the largest Agrotrons were updated to the X series. These models were the only ones to retain the 7.1-liter engines. They were now equipped with 4-valve technology and common rail injection. The power ratings of the larger model remained the same, while the smaller one received an additional power feature. A year later, torque figures especially improved significantly. Apart from cosmetic details, the X series was very similar to its predecessor. Including creep gears, there were 40+40 gears. The powershift had 4 stages. The 720 model came standard with a torque converter clutch. The load-sensing hydraulics had a capacity of 120 l/min, and four electrically controlled valve blocks were standard. The headland management system could be programmed with 16 functions. Both front and rear axles had engageable 100% differential locks. The 720 and the 710 50 km/h version featured hydropneumatic suspension on the front axle. The cab suspension was pneumatic and equipped with level control. The turning circle diameter was given as 13.5–14.8 meters.

The Agrotron X was withdrawn from the Western European market in 2012, replaced by the updated 7-series.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
