Fendt 5255 L – 6275 L
The L-series introduced by Fendt in 2008 corresponded to MF’s Activa S and Laverda’s LCS. Compared to these, Fendt's differences were mainly limited to color – the standard equipment was usually exactly the same in the parallel brands as well. Compared to the cheaper Fendt E-series, the biggest differences were the straw walker and the AutoLevel header adjustment. The 5-walker model had a 6.7-liter Iveco engine, and the 6-walker model had a 7.4-liter Sisu Diesel. There was also an AL model of the 5250, in which the machinery remained straight at a 20-degree side tilt and +/- 8-degree longitudinal tilt.
In the 2012 models, the straw walker was removed from the base versions, and the engines were replaced with Agco Powers equipped with SCR technology.
