Info

In 1953, Fahr introduced versions equipped with air-cooled engines alongside their earlier models. These used a new model designation system that indicated the engine displacement instead of the power output. A couple of models had MWM engines, while most had Güldner engines. The D 270 had the same Deutz engine as its predecessor, the D 30 L. All models were available in a high-wheeled H-parallel version; at the larger end, this was the only option. A power take-off independent of the driving clutch was available as an optional extra.

In 1957, the D 130 A was introduced, featuring Fahr’s own 8+2 gearbox with a splitter, instead of the previous 5+1 gearbox.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
