Info

The first MK3-generation Agrotrons were introduced in the autumn of 2000 in four models—120, 135, 150 and, new to the lineup, 165—of which the 165 featured a significantly beefed-up rear end and a viscous fan. The cab was upgraded, and air conditioning plus an air-suspended seat became standard equipment on all models. In the 2001 model year the engines’ performance figures remained almost unchanged; only the 120 saw a substantial increase in torque (now 481 Nm).

A more important step forward came a year later, when both power and torque were raised beyond their model designations through fine-tuning of the fuel-injection system. (A table of the new versions’ specifications was provided.)

In the autumn of 2001 the 106, 110 and 115 models were also upgraded to MK3 specification. Thanks to electronic control of the injection pump, these versions delivered more torque than before and responded more quickly; torque increases ranged from 39 % to 44 %. The 110 also gained an intercooler at that time.

As an option on all models there was now a closed-center hydraulics system offering 120 l/min for external hydraulic implements. Even the standard machines featured individual flow control on each hydraulic valve. The 50 km/h versions came with cab and front-axle suspension as standard. In every case, the gearbox ratios were set up for 50 km/h, and any slower-top-speed versions were achieved simply by electronically limiting the engine’s maximum rpm. A multifunction armrest similar to that found on the larger Agrotron models was also available as an extra.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
