Allis-Chalmers started manufacturing tractors in England in 1947. Gradually, most of the parts were also of British origin, including the electrical equipment made by Lucas. The manufacturing mainly involved model B. In the very early phase, a small batch of model WC was also assembled. From 1950 onwards, the English B model featured a straight front axle different from the American version. The lifting device was modified to a three-point hitch, but it was not on par with European tractors. British Allis tractors were also exported to Australia and Canada.

In 1954, the model D-270, a further development of the B for the European market, was introduced. Despite the model designation, it was most often equipped with a petrol or gasoline engine.
